56410 (2024). Arena Williams to the Minister of Commerce and Consumer Affairs: Does the Minister agree with the Grocery Commissioner's August 2024 assessment that New Zealanders are likely losing tens of millions of dollars a year from supermarket pricing errors?

Hon Andrew Bayly: The Annual Grocery Report reported that the Commission has continued to receive complaints about supermarket pricing errors. I am concerned about this and expect supermarkets to improve their practices. I intend to commence a review of the Fair Trading Act in 2025 which may consider this matter further.
