Hon Karen Chhour: I am advised by Oranga Tamariki they are not able to provide the date that the last contracted service provider was informed about their contract status. Oranga Tamariki records which providers have been informed about their contract status, but they do not record when they were updated. To provide the information requested would require significant work and a manual collation exercise. In accordance with Speaker’s Ruling 199-3, I consider that the time, and hence the expense, of answering this question in the timeframe allowed for written parliamentary questions, is not in the public interest.
