56363 (2024). Kahurangi Carter to the Minister for Children: For services with reduced or fully cut funding, is Oranga Tamariki’s expectation that they would not take on any new clients after this funding decision was communicated to them?

Hon Karen Chhour: I am advised by Oranga Tamariki that they do not have any expectations in this regard. These are decisions for individual providers. I also refer the Member to my answer to WPQ 52442 (2024).
