56360 (2025). Tangi Utikere to the Minister for Rail: What issues are included in the “normal New Zealand infrastructure issues” referenced by Ferry Holdings, and how might these affect delivery of the new ferries and required port infrastructure?

Rt Hon Winston Peters: Infrastructure projects do not exist in a vacuum as they are constrained by budgets, construction firm availability and appetite, skilled labour, weather and other force majeure risks, and so on. This is what was meant by “normal New Zealand infrastructure issues.”
