56297 (2024). Chlöe Swarbrick to the Minister of Finance: How many emails, instant messages, or text messages, if any, were sent from the Minister or her Office to Inland Revenue on the subject of the proactive release of Budget 2024 material?

Hon Nicola Willis: There are communications between my office and Inland Revenue/the Treasury relating to the proactive release of Budget 2024 material. These communications span many weeks, as the process to proactively release Budget material begins prior to the Budget in May. I do not believe it is a good use of public resource to count these.
