Hon Scott Simpson: I am advised the total costs of settlement agreements since 27 November 2023 are as follows: • Accreditation Council: o Q2 2025: $89,000 • Commerce Commission: For the purposes of this response, “total cost of settlement agreements” includes all costs paid to the employee associated with the agreements except legislated leave entitlements. o Q1 2024: $158,079.76 o Q2 2024: $159,169.28 o Q3 2024: $104,128.77 o Q4 2024: $62,982.92 o Q1 2025: $20,722.56 o Q2 2025: $7,471.42 o Q3 2025: $106,000.88 • External Reporting Board (XRB): o Q4 2024: $52,033 • Financial Markets Authority (FMA): Recent organisational changes have involved some people transitioning through settlement or redundancy arrangements which are not individually differentiated as part of the annual reporting process.
