56282 (2025). Camilla Belich to the Minister of Transport: What is the total cost, if any, of redundancies at each of the entities for which the minister is responsible since 27 November 2023, broken down by month?

Hon Chris Bishop: I am advised by the Ministry of Transport that given the small number of redundancies over this period and the size of the Ministry it would be identifiable on an individual basis to provide the cost of these redundancies, broken down by month. The total cost between 27 November 2023 and 3 December 2025 is $756,837 I am also advised by NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi that the total cost of redundancy payments between 27 November 2023 and 2 December 2025 was $7,099,744.49.
