56246 (2025). Camilla Belich to the Minister of Health: How many Non-Disclosure Agreements, if any, have been entered into with employees, former employees, contractors, or consultants in each of the entities for which the Minister is responsible since 27 November 2023, broken down by month?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised since 27 November 2023, there have been zero non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) in place for staff or contractors at the Ministry of Health. NDAs are not generally required in addition to employment contracts or contracts for service at the Ministry. I am further advised by Health NZ that the information requested is not available in an easily reportable format. I do not consider it to be in the public interest to divert staff from their work to undertake a substantial collation exercise.
