56238 (2025). Camilla Belich to the Minister for Ethnic Communities: What is the total cost, if any, of redundancies at each of the entities for which the minister is responsible since 27 November 2023, broken down by month?

Hon Mark Mitchell: I have been advised by the Ministry for Ethnic Communities that no redundancy payments were made to Ministry staff between 27 November 2023 and 31 March 2024. For the remaining time period, please see the below table: Month Amount April 2024 - $34,000.00 May 2024 - $181,849.00 June 2024 -$151,540.00 July 2024 - $44,534.00 August 2024 - Nil. September 2024 - $101,710.50 Total: $513,633.50 There was one further redundancy paid in April 2025. The details of this payment are withheld for privacy reasons.
