56219 (2024). Celia Wade-Brown to the Minister of Conservation: What effect, if any, will Budget 2024 have on the management of Threatened, At Risk and Conservation Dependent species compared to that of the 2022/23 financial year?

Hon Tama Potaka: The Department of Conservation informs me that minimal changes were made to the management for Threatened, At Risk and Conservation Dependent species for Budget 2024, compared to the 2022/23 financial year. The Department expects similar management levels to be maintained. A small number of Nationally Critical species will receive increased management through redirected funding.
