56191 (2025). Camilla Belich to the Minister for Media and Communications: What is the total cost, if any, of settlement agreements in each of the entities for which the Minister is responsible since 27 November 2023, broken down by month?

Hon Paul Goldsmith: Presuming this question relates to Non-Disclosure Agreements, I am advised that Radio New Zealand (RNZ) total cost of settlements is less than $39,000 since 27 November 2023 and that due to the low number of settlements, this cannot be broken down by month, or year in order to protect individuals' privacy on their individual settlement costs. I am further advised that due to the small number of settlements at the other entities I am responsible for (Television New Zealand and the Broadcasting Commission), these amounts are withheld for privacy reasons. Finally, I am also advised that the Broadcasting Standards Authority have not entered into any settlement agreements.
