56177 (2025). Camilla Belich to the Prime Minister: What is the total cost, if any, of settlement agreements in each of the entities for which the Minister is responsible since 27 November 2023, broken down by month?

Rt Hon Christopher Luxon: In my capacity as the Prime Minister, I am the responsible minister for the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC). The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) was a departmental agency hosted by DPMC to 24 September 2025. My response includes NEMA information to 24 September 2025. I am advised that due to privacy reasons the costs associated with settlement agreements cannot be disclosed.
