Camilla Belich to the Minister for Social Development and Employment: How many Non-Disclosure Agreements, if any, have been entered into with employees, former employees, contractors, or consultants in each of the entities for which the Minister is responsible since 27 November 2023, broken down by month?

Hon Louise Upston: I am advised by the Ministry of Social Development that in the period from 27 September 2023 to 1 December 2025, the Ministry has entered into 118 confidential employment related settlement agreements. Due to low numbers which may potentially lead to individuals being identified, the Ministry is unable to provide a breakdown of how many non-disclosure Agreements by month. The total cost of the settlement agreements is not readily available and would require individual assessment of each case which would divert personnel from their core duties. In accordance with the Speaker’s Ruling 210/6, I consider that the time, and hence the expense, of answering this part of the Member’s questions is not in the public interest This is also my response to WPQ’s 56136 & 56133
