56132 (2025). Camilla Belich to the Minister for Social Development and Employment: How many people, if any, have been made redundant – voluntary or otherwise – at each of the entities for which the minister is responsible since 27 November 2023, broken down by month?

Hon Louise Upston: I am advised by the Ministry of Social Development (the Ministry) that 376 people have been made redundant since 27 November 2023. Included in this total are both voluntary redundancy and redundancy. The total cost of these redundancies was $24,359,999.70. Due to low numbers which may potentially lead to individuals being identified, the Ministry is unable to provide a breakdown of how many people and the total cost by month.
