Hon Chris Bishop: I refer the Member to the attached document provided by Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities that covers settlement agreements relating to employment only. The total amount the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development has spent on settlements since 27 November 2023 is $45,650. This amount reflects spend over and above contractual entitlements in employment agreements. The Ministry is not disclosing the timing of payment/s to maintain individual privacy.
