56061 (2024). Camilla Belich to the Minister for Workplace Relations and Safety: How were the selection criteria for the participating members of the targeted consultation on the Holidays Act reform determined, and when was this criterion decided upon?

Hon Brooke van Velden: I am advised that when they registered interest in being part of the targeted consultation, stakeholders were asked for a range of information about themselves such as the stakeholder group they represent, their business size, sector and work and pay arrangements, the type of payroll system they use and population group/s they represent. The Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment used this information to select stakeholders who would provide a wide range of perspectives, under the groupings of technical experts, employer perspective and employee perspective.
