56059 (2024). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Emergency Management and Recovery: Did the Minister's department, if any, have a chief science advisor as of 1 July 2024; and if not, are there any plans for future hire of a chief science advisor?

Hon Mark Mitchell: The National Emergency Management Agency is a departmental agency hosted by the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC). The Prime Minister is the Responsible Minister for DPMC. I refer the member to the Prime Minister’s response to Written Parliamentary Question 56262 (2024).
