56047 (2024). Hon Dr Duncan Webb to the Minister for Regulation: Further to WPQ 52402/24 and WPQ 46804/24, is the Minister concerned that two staff had already departed, in an agency with only 19 permanent employees; and what does this say about the culture of this ministry?

Hon David Seymour: I have no concerns about the culture of the Ministry for Regulation. As the Ministry builds up a number of fixed-term employees will be needed to provide specialist skills, to meet temporary needs during the establishment phase or fill important positions before the Ministry had confirmed its permanent structure. The two members of staff that the member is referring to were both fixed-term employees.
