56012 (2025). Camilla Belich to the Minister of Education: For what reasons, if any, have Non-Disclosure Agreements been used in each of the entities for which the Minister is responsible since 27 November 2023, broken down by category of issue (such as conduct, grievances, employment disputes, whistleblowing, or other)?

Hon Erica Stanford: The Ministry of Education’s policy is to not ask its staff to sign non-disclosure agreements. The Ministry is responsible for preparing and administering any non-disclosure agreements that may be required for advisory groups and other parties when strict confidentiality needs to be maintained. I am advised that the New Zealand Qualifications Agency, Education Review Office and Education New Zealand have not signed any non-disclosure agreements since 27 November 2023. This is also my response to written parliamentary questions 56020 and 56021 (2025).
