55991 (2025). Camilla Belich to the Minister of Conservation: What is the total cost, if any, of settlement agreements in each of the entities for which the Minister is responsible since 27 November 2023, broken down by month?

Hon Tama Potaka: I am advised that since 27 November 2023, the Department of Conservation has made payments in relation to eight settlement agreements, at a total cost of $101,500. DOC is not able provide this breakdown by month, as this granularity would expose individual settlement payments, which is subject to the confidentiality provisions of the agreements themselves.
