55959 (2024). Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Minister for Children: Further to 11474 (2024), was the temporary pause on recruitment at Oranga Tamariki to 30 June 2024 extended, and if so, why?

Hon Karen Chhour: I am advised by Oranga Tamariki that the temporary pause was extended until late August 2024 to allow time for the redeployment process to take place to ensure those that were disestablished had the opportunity to be redeployed across the organisation. I am further advised that the temporary pause has now been lifted.
