55957 (2024). Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Minister for Children: Further to 51762 (2024) and 11474 (2024), what, if any, difference is there between the Oranga Tamariki hiring freeze and the temporary pause in recruitment?

Hon Karen Chhour: I am advised by Oranga Tamariki that the language of “pause” and “freeze” used did not differ, and the terminology was used interchangeably.
