55944 (2024). Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Minister for Children: Further to 52442 (2024), how, if at all, will the Minister know if Oranga Tamariki meets her expectation regarding safe transition of tamariki, rangatahi and whānau?

Hon Karen Chhour: I regularly receive updates and reports from my officials about my portfolio responsibilities. I expect I will be informed about any matters impacting my ministerial priorities. The safety and wellbeing of children and young people in the care of Oranga Tamariki is a high priority for me.
