55939 (2024). Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Minister for Children: Further to 52439 (2024), why, if at all, has the amount of unspent funding recovered from community providers reduced to $22 million from the amount the Minister stated on the 19 June 2024 at the Estimates Hearing, which was "around $42 million that has been managed to be clawed back that wasn't spent"?

Hon Karen Chhour: Oranga Tamariki has stated publicly they have recovered at least $22 million in unspent funding. I am also advised Oranga Tamariki identified further underutilised funding it did not recover this financial year.
