55911 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: Is Te Whatu Ora on track to achieve a further 2 years of nursing recruitment growth at 2022/23 rates?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that during the April to June 2024 quarter, progress was made towards Health New Zealand achieving further targeted nursing recruitment. I am further advised that Health NZ is currently preparing its 2024/27 Health Workforce Plan which will provide the latest insights into workforce pressures.
