55890 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What hospitals, if any, have considered not providing bread / toast to patients since 27 November 2023, listed by hospital and date of consideration?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that no hospitals have considered not providing toast to patients since 27 November 2023. I am further advised that there has been no suspension to the provision of bread/toast to patients at Wellington Hospital. All wards have approved meal plans, including toast/bread as appropriate.
