Tangi Utikere to the Minister of Local Government: Will the Government issue mandatory, standardised reporting templates for councils to use when publishing financial metrics required under the transition period for the rates-cap regime, and if so, when will these templates be provided?

Hon Simon Watts: The Department of Internal Affairs will continue to monitor councils’ financial metrics from data provided by councils in annual reports and long-term plans.
