55623 (2024). Hon Carmel Sepuloni to the Minister for Social Development and Employment: Are beneficiaries who are placed at red according to the traffic light system still able to access, if at all, the Guaranteed Childcare Assistance Payment?

Hon Louise Upston: I am advised by the Ministry of Social Developmnent (MSD) The Guaranteed Childcare Assistance Payment is for clients who are aged 16-19 and are receiving a Young Parent Payment, which is not part of the traffic light system, or for those under 18 who are not receiving a benefit and thus would not be under the traffic light system.
