55510 (2025). Hon Julie Anne Genter to the Minister of Transport: Has Waka Kotahi quantified the dis-benefits, if any, to the Wellington City Council as a result of the SH1 Improvements project, and if so, what were these dis-benefits, broken down by category?

Hon Chris Bishop: I am advised that the benefits (and dis-benefits) for the SH1 Wellington Improvements project have been calculated on an outcome type basis as per the NZTA Monetised Benefits Cost Manual. Outcome types include travel time savings, vehicle operating costs, safety. Benefits and dis-benefits aren’t calculated on a per stakeholder basis.
