55489 (2025). Debbie Ngarewa-Packer to the Minister for Food Safety: What is the indicative timeline of the Ministry for Primary Industries proposed changes to the animal products notices about specified meat for export with official assurance, and official assessors?

Hon Andrew Hoggard: The Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) is currently consulting on the proposal, which closes on 22 December 2025. MPI will analyse submissions received before making final decisions in early 2026.
