55447 (2025). Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Minister of Health: What percentage of physical construction work has been completed on Linear Accelerators Replacement, Auckland City Hospital, as at 24 November 2025?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that, as part of our focus on putting patients first and ensuring all New Zealanders have access to timely, quality healthcare, construction on the Linear Accelerators Replacement, Auckland City Hospital MV1 commenced on 24 November 2025, with the MV1 machine decommissioned and removed. I am further advised that the MV1 construction, installation and commissioning must be completed before MV6 construction can commence.
