55354 (2025). Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Minister of Housing: What assurances, if any, can he give that no Kāinga Ora tenant will be forced to leave their home in the week of Christmas 2025, including 24–26 December?

Hon Chris Bishop: Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities advises me that it issues operational guidelines to its frontline staff in early December regarding terminations over the Christmas period, which typically includes not terminating tenancies during the period between 22 December and 5 January. This is also my response to WPQs 55365, 55375, 55376 and 55498 (2025).
