55340 (2025). Teanau Tuiono to the Prime Minister: What communications, if any, has the Minister or any office they are responsible for had with the US embassy about collecting data on migrant crime in New Zealand by date and title?

Rt Hon Christopher Luxon: In my capacity as the Prime Minister, I am the responsible minister for the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC). Neither myself nor my officials in DPMC have met or communicated with USA officials or the USA Embassy on the issue of collecting data on migrant crime in New Zealand.
