55294 (2025). Tangi Utikere to the Minister for Workplace Relations and Safety: Further to her reply to Question 52318 (2025), why is it not compulsory for Road Controlling Authorities to respond to WorkSafe monthly surveys regarding outputs and impacts of the road cone hotline?

Hon Brooke van Velden: I am advised that WorkSafe New Zealand has no mandate to compel Road Controlling Authorities (RCAs) to respond to the monthly impact survey about notifications received via the road cone hotline. The road cone hotline is a pilot programme, and RCAs have participated in it voluntarily.
