55213 (2025). Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Minister of Transport: Who are the main contractors and subcontractors currently engaged on SH1 Otaki–Levin, as at 24 November 2025?

Hon Chris Bishop: I am advised that NZTA has signed Project Alliance Agreements with the two alliances who will build the new Ōtaki to north of Levin Road of National Significance. The alliances will each deliver a section of the road (approx. 12kms each) and associated works, and the two alliances will be working collaboratively to ensure the best outcomes for the project. The alliance partners are: Northern section: Fulton Hogan, HEB, WSP and Aurecon. Southern section: Downer, McConnell Dowell, Beca and Tonkin+Taylor. Goodmans have been engaged in an earthworks sub alliance across the whole project area. Nearly 100 local suppliers have been onboarded onto the Ō2NL project.
