55186 (2025). Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Associate Minister of Defence: How many people have been employed directly or indirectly on CLP – Burnham Regional Support Facility, as at 24 November 2025?

Hon Chris Penk: The NZDF directly employs or contracts eight individuals working either full or part time as part of the CLP project team delivering the Burnham Regional Supply Facility. The NZDF does not hold a total figure for the number of contractors’ employees. In addition to Leighs Construction, the project utilises a quantity surveyor, an engineer and an engineer’s representative to deliver the build.
