55184 (2025). Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Associate Minister of Defence: Has CLP – Burnham Regional Support Facility experienced any delays, cost overruns, or scope changes since its inclusion in the 20 July 2025 Beehive press release titled “Infrastructure projects to drive jobs and growth”, and if so, what are the reasons, as at 24 November 2025?

Hon Chris Penk: There have been no delays or cost overruns to the Burnham Regional Supply Facility since 20 July 2025. A minor scope change included an additional small structure in the demolition programme. All refinement in design has occurred as part of the standard design-build (NZS3916:2013) process and within the planned contingency budget for design-development during the design stage. The detailed design was completed in August 2025, in line with the programme.
