Hon Tama Potaka: The Department of Conservation’s international market research included paid car parks in the UK, Australia, Norway, Canada and the USA. The research focused on parking fees, fee structures and the visitor experience, including if car parks are bookable in advance. The research did not include technology to administer and enforce parking charges.
