55062 (2025). Hon Priyanca Radhakrishnan to the Minister of Conservation: How much of the approximately $1.5 million expected revenue from the three parking fee pilot sites of Punakaiki, Franz Josef and Aoraki Mt Cook, if anything, is expected to come from breach notices?

Hon Tama Potaka: I am advised that current revenue estimates do not include revenue from breach notices. Paid parking is new to the Department of Conservation and therefore the levels of breach notices are still to be determined. Through the pilot period the Department expects to learn more about paid parking and the expected costs and revenues, including from breach notices.
