Hon Simon Watts: The renumeration for the Crown facilitator to support Waitaki District Council has been determined in accordance with section 35 of the Local Government (Water Services Preliminary Arrangements) Act 2024, and in accordance with the Cabinet fees framework. Crown facilitators are classified as a Group 4 Level 1 chair under the Cabinet Fees Framework. The Crown facilitator for Waitaki District Council will be paid a daily rate of $1,645, which is the maximum rate for this classification.
