54580 (2025). Debbie Ngarewa-Packer to the Minister responsible for RMA Reform: How will the Fast-track Approvals Amendment Bill ensure that infrastructure developments do not disproportionately impact Māori communities, wāhi tapu, or urupā?

Hon Chris Bishop: The Fast-track Approvals Amendment Bill does not amend the provisions relating to identification of wāhi tapu and urupā in the Fast-track Approvals Act (section 13(4)(o)), or the provisions requiring expert panels to assess the adverse impacts of projects (section 81(3)).
