Camilla Belich to the Minister for the Public Service: At what exact time on 13 November 2025 did the Minister’s office become aware that they had in fact been informed, contrary to what the Minister had initially believed, that the Public Service Commission’s social media advertisements relating to industrial action on 23 October 2025 were paid advertisements?

Hon Judith Collins: I am advised that a staff member in my Office conducted an additional search of all emails and attachments late in the day on 13 November and I am further advised that there was an email exchange between staff at 6.34pm confirming that the Office had in fact been informed on 17 October via an updated A3 document sent by the Public Service Commission but that the addition of the word "paid" had not been highlighted or identified.
