54496 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What actions, if any, have been taken in the quarter to promote training in allied scientific and technical health careers to New Zealanders?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that the roll out of National Allied Health Career Pathways, to promote opportunities in health careers, occurred during the October to December 2023 quarter. This pathway continued to support people to identify which role might be the best pathway for them and the requirements needed to enter the education pathway during the April to June quarter
