54468 (2025). Arena Williams to the Minister of Commerce and Consumer Affairs: Did the Minister, or MBIE officials, consult with banks on the "new legal protections so banks, telecommunications providers and digital platforms can act faster to block suspected online scams", and if so, when and in what format?

Hon Scott Simpson: Members of the Anti-Scam Alliance, including banks, have told me that they are very supportive of a safe harbour provision.
