Hon Scott Simpson: There is a provision under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 for consumers who purchased the sand for personal, domestic or household use to claim compensation from the supplier for any additional loss or damage caused by an unsafe product. I recommend that families contact the store or supplier where they purchased recalled products to discuss this.
