54421 (2025). Hon Rachel Brooking to the Associate Minister for the Environment: What evidence, by title and date, if any, supports his statement that Jobs for Nature "cost taxpayers $77 per hour of work created"?

Hon Andrew Hoggard: I'm advised by my officials that at the conclusion of the programme in the fourth quarter of 2024/2025, the Government had spent $1.030 billion on the Jobs for Nature Project to deliver 13.28 million hours of work over the five-year period.
