Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister for Arts, Culture and Heritage: How many of the Chief Financial Officers, or equivalent senior financial officers, in the departments, Crown entities, or other agencies for which the Minister is responsible, if any, currently hold each of the following professional accounting qualifications: Chartered Accountant (CA ANZ), Certified Practising Accountant (CPA Australia); Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA); and any other professional accounting qualification (please specify), and how many hold no such qualification, broken down by agency and each qualification category?
Hon Paul Goldsmith: I am advised that all Chief Financial Officers, or equivalent senior financial officers, across departments and Crown entities that I am responsible for have appropriate qualifications. Specifically, the qualifications for each Chief Financial Officer or equivalent are: The Ministry for Culture and Heritage Manatū Taonga: Chartered Accountant (CA ANZ), The New Zealand Symphony Orchestra: Chartered Accountant (CA ANZ) and Diploma in Business Studies (Financial Planning), Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa: Chartered Accountant (CA ANZ) and Post Graduate Diploma in Professional Accounting, Heritage New Zealand Pouhere Taonga: Chartered Accountant (CA ANZ), Creative New Zealand: Chartered Accountant (CA ANZ), New Zealand Film Commission: registered Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA).
