54353 (2025). Ricardo Menéndez March to the Minister of Revenue: What is the total number of domestic trusts that have filed returns, and the aggregate value of their assets, liabilities and net assets (i.e., equity) in the 2023-24 income year, as at November 2025?

Hon Simon Watts: Officials advise as at 20 November 2025, 209,000 complying trusts have filed returns for the 2023-24 income year. Of these trusts, 161,100 have disclosed in aggregate $580 billion of total assets, $187 billion of total liabilities and $393 billion of owners’ equity.
