54344 (2024). Hon Carmel Sepuloni to the Minister for Social Development and Employment: What is the total number if any, of individuals who have moved off the benefit into work, broken down by ethnicity, age and gender, during the week of 6 March 2024?

Hon Louise Upston: I am advised by the Ministry of Social Development (the Ministry) that they are unable to provide this data as the Ministry's standard reporting period is month end and quarter end. Regular reporting on main benefits, supplementary assistance, and sanctions is provided in the Ministry’s quarterly Benefit Fact sheets which are available on the Ministry’s website: www.msd.govt.nz/about-msd-and-our-work/publications-resources/statistics/benefit/index.html
