54293 (2025). Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Minister of Justice: Further to 38435 (2025), what is the definition of the 'finalised HAC grants' heading of the second column of the table attached to the answer?

Hon Paul Goldsmith: The definition of ‘finalised HAC grants’ is for legal aid grants for HAC matters that have been finalised in the Legal Services Management System. A grant is deemed to be finalised when legal aid is no longer required which may be because the matter been resolved, or aid has been withdrawn. Only finalised HAC grants were included in the response to WPQ 38435 (2025) as any repayment amount is not established until a grant is finalised.
